Australia country Australia
Australia has a big feel to it. In many ways, it similar to the United States, in size, in wealth, in its variety of climates, and in its vast open western deserts. I took 5 weeks to go on a 13,000 km roadtrip with my family, from Sydney, following the coast south to Adelaide, up through the Red Center, east to Cairns, and finally south again to Sydney. But the country is so big, it is like trying to see the United States in a month. I'll have to go back someday.
New Zealand Country New Zealand
I spent 10 months travelling and hiking around New Zealand on an extended solo adventure. After I graduated from college, I flew over there, bought a car through TradeMe.co.nz in the first couple days I was there, and basically just took my time exploring the entire country. While a small country, I never ran out of places to go or mountains to climb. I've been to more places in New Zealand than many locals, even. Now that I am living back in the States, I realize how much I miss New Zealand and the wandering lifestyle I lived. I really fell in love with the country, and look forward to returning. It was in New Zealand that I also discovered my passion for wilderness photography, and looking back at my pictures, I can see a huge improvement from when I got there to when I left. (It's no coincidence that the South Island Gallery has more images than the North Island gallery!). Visitors to New Zealand say that's it impossible to take bad pictures there- while I agree with them on the incredible landscapes of New Zealand, I am not sure I quite agree on the photo part!
Patagonia, South America
Patagonia is one of the world´s most talked-about wilderness areas. I am travelling around this region for half a year, exploring and appreciating this land. At the end of my trip, I hope to have hundreds of unique and astounding landscapes displayed here, but for now, here is a beginning...
United States Country United States of America
The United States is a large and diverse country, but for all the travelling I have done in my younger days, I don't seem to have the quality photos I would need for this site. I'll blame it on the camera equipment I had back then. However, under this region, I have created a gallery showing the Adirondack Mountains of New York, a favorite place of mine.
