Iceland is one of my favorite countries in the world - it has a feeling of wild, windswept, isolation when standing on volcanic mountains overlooking layer upon layer of black sands and green mossy hills. I've traveled, hiked, and photographed in Iceland starting in 2008. Building on my local and photographic knowledge of Iceland, I started leading sold-out 12+ day Iceland photography workshops in 2011, circumnavigating Iceland and exploring some of the Highlands, along with award winning Icelandic photographer Örvar Þorgeirsson. I am curently spending about 4-5 months each year in both summer and winter in Iceland, leading multiple annual Iceland Winter Aurora, Icecave, and Landscapes Photography Workshops, and two 12+ day summer adventure photography tours around Iceland.
