Boreas Mountain view of High Peaks Range

200 degree panorama, Elk Lake region of the Adirondacks

A unique view of the Adirondack High Peaks Range from the south - from the summit of Boreas Mountain. This 220 degree panorama photo is a composite of multiple images seamlessly stitched together in order to increase photo resolution and detail at large sizes. I took these photos handheld, with one hand, from the top of a small pine tree much like the one you see in the photo, hanging onto the tree with my other arm. Without this added height, the view is interrupted by more trees.
